Built On What You Started

With a growing global community of students across 80+ countries, Learn with Leaders creates opportunities for students to learn through transformative programmes and engage with student mentors from Harvard, Yale, MIT and other Ivy League universities. Having previously been part of an LwL programme, you are already a valued member of the LwL community. We are now inviting a select group of our alumni to take the next step, from participant to LwL Student Leader: a four-week experience designed for students who want to take initiative, explore their interests, and create something meaningful in their school, their community, or online.

Student Chapter Builder

Building an LwL student chapter or club at your school.

Path 02

Content Creator

Creating digital content around your interests or your LwL experience.

Path 03

Event Organiser

Organising a student discussion, session, or event.

Path 04

Community Connector

Connecting with students, teachers, or school communities.

Path 05

Masterclass Leader

Leading an online LwL existing masterclass.

Path 06

Independent Project

Developing and executing your own leadership project.

You will receive guidance, resources, and exclusive masterclasses from the LwL team, along with a day-wise calendar to help you plan and execute your project.

Plan

Choose your path, set a goal, and identify your audience.

Week 2

Create

Build your idea using LwL's resources and guidance.

Week 3

Lead

Make it happen, online, at school, or in your community.

Week 4

Impact

Show what you achieved: reach, results, and learnings.

Online Masterclass Leadership Track: lead an upcoming LwL online masterclass. Identify your student network, share the masterclass through your own channels using a personal tracking link, help build participation, and take an active role during the session by moderating questions and collecting feedback.

The Curriculum: 4 Levels, 20 Days

One task a day. Submit it, and the next day opens.

Level 1

Plan

Decide what you're building, who it's for, and by when.

  1. Day 1Kickoff and path confirmationMeet the LwL team, understand how the four weeks work, and confirm your path.
  2. Day 2Set your goalOne clear, measurable goal for the four weeks.
  3. Day 3Map your audienceWho you'll reach, through which channels, and realistically how many.
  4. Day 4Review your resource kitGo through LwL templates, guides and past examples for your path.
  5. Day 5Week 1 Plan SummaryYour goal, your audience, and a week-by-week timeline for Weeks 2 to 4.

Level 2

Create

Build the actual thing: materials, plan, structure.

  1. Day 1Start your core deliverableThe main thing your path needs. First drafts are meant to be rough.
  2. Day 2Work session: refineSharpen your captions, posters, agendas and outreach messages.
  3. Day 3Mentor check-in (optional)A 1:1 with an LwL mentor for feedback on your draft.
  4. Day 4Final materials, LwL sign-offSubmitted for approval; nothing goes live until the team signs off.
  5. Day 5Week 2 Build SummaryWhat you built and what's ready to launch.

Level 3

Lead

Go live. Run it. Talk to real people.

  1. Day 1LaunchPost, open registrations, send outreach, or hold your first session.
  2. Day 2Engage your audienceReply to everyone and follow up with people who went quiet.
  3. Day 3Mid-week pulse checkLog your numbers so far and flag anything that's stuck.
  4. Day 4Core activityKeep going. For Masterclass Leaders, this is the live session.
  5. Day 5Week 3 Execution SummaryWhat worked, what didn't, and what surprised you.

Level 4

Impact

Show what happened, in numbers and in words.

  1. Day 1Gather your resultsFinal reach, sign-ups, attendees, referrals and engagement.
  2. Day 2ReflectThree things you learned and one thing you'd do differently.
  3. Day 3Draft your Final Impact SummaryGoal versus outcome, your numbers, your learnings, and proof of the work.
  4. Day 4Review call with LwLWalk the team through your summary and talk about what comes next.
  5. Day 5Submit your Final Impact SummaryYour certificate and badge are issued once this is in.
  • Day 4 of Week 2 and Day 4 of Week 4 need LwL approval before you move on.
  • About 4 to 6 hours a week, spread across five working days. Move at your own pace within the week.

Top 3 Student Leaders may be considered for a paid three-month internship with Learn with Leaders.

Who Should Apply

This invitation is open to students who:

  • Have previously been part of an LwL programme or fellowship, anywhere in the world.
  • Want to take initiative and explore your interests.
  • Would like to create something meaningful in your school, your community, or online.
  • Are ready to take ownership of a project over four weeks.
